At the Schneider Innovation Summit in Copenhagen, AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software and digital transformation, unveiled key upgrades to its Asset Information Management and PI Data Infrastructure systems. According to ARC Advisory Group, these enhancements unify real-time operational data with trusted asset information through a modern interface on AVEVA’s CONNECT industrial intelligence platform.
The integration allows industrial organizations to create high-fidelity digital twins that deliver real-time insights, improve reliability, accelerate decision-making, and enable enterprise-wide transformation. By removing data silos and promoting collaboration across engineering, operations, and IT, AVEVA strengthens performance, carbon efficiency, and industrial intelligence throughout the asset lifecycle.
AVEVA Asset Information Management now consolidates equipment specifications, maintenance records, and engineering documentation in a unified visualization environment on CONNECT—forming the digital twin’s core and supporting better collaboration. Meanwhile, AVEVA PI Data Infrastructure offers a flexible foundation to connect, contextualize, and analyze operations data, ensuring data quality, hybrid connectivity, visualization, and auditing.
Built on Microsoft Azure, the CONNECT platform serves as the central hub combining asset and operational data, enabling AI-powered dashboards and enterprise scalability. Microsoft’s Corporate VP for Manufacturing, Diane Rodriguez, stated that the partnership “continues to unlock new possibilities for industrial digital twin technology.”
These innovations reaffirm AVEVA’s position as a global leader in sustainable industrial software, empowering over 20,000 enterprises in 100+ countries to leverage AI-driven insights for operational excellence and environmental responsibility.
