Honeywell Announces $600 Million Capital Raise for Quantinuum at $10B Pre-Money Valuation
Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) has revealed an equity capital raise of approximately $600 million for Quantinuum, valuing the quantum computing company at $10 billion pre-money. Quantinuum, known for building the world’s most powerful quantum computers, secured backing from new investors including Quanta Computer, NVentures (NVIDIA’s venture arm), QED Investors, MESH, and Korea Investment Partners. Existing investors JPMorganChase, Mitsui, Amgen, Cambridge Quantum Holdings, Serendipity Capital, and Honeywell also reinvested in this round.
The funding will accelerate Quantinuum’s roadmap, supporting the launch of Helios, its next-generation quantum system expected this year, and advancing its efforts toward universal fault-tolerant computing. As a full-stack provider, Quantinuum continues to lead with high-performance systems, developer tools like InQuanto, and quantum applications that drive breakthroughs in science, economic growth, and sustainability.
Quantinuum has strengthened collaborations globally, including with NVIDIA through the Accelerated Quantum Research Center, and partnerships with RIKEN, SoftBank Corp., Infineon, and the STFC Hartree Center. The company has expanded into New Mexico, Qatar, and Singapore. In Qatar, a joint venture will deliver advanced infrastructure as part of a $1 billion national quantum program. In Singapore, Quantinuum is enabling access to its systems for computational biology research.
Honeywell CEO Vimal Kapur praised Quantinuum’s strategic and technical leadership, while JPMorganChase CTO Scot Baldry emphasized its real-world potential. Quantinuum CEO Dr. Rajeeb Hazra said the raise will accelerate its mission to advance both quantum and AI.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC acted as placement agent, with Freshfields LLP serving as legal counsel.
