Infosys has entered into a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services aimed at accelerating the adoption of generative artificial intelligence both internally and across its global client base. The agreement centers on integrating Infosys’ Topaz AI platform with Amazon Q Developer, AWS’s generative AI–powered assistant, to support enterprises seeking to embed AI-driven capabilities into core business operations.

According to the report by Informa TechTarget, the collaboration is designed to help clients across sectors such as manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, and consumer goods modernize workflows and improve productivity. Infosys said the combined solution will support a range of enterprise functions, including software development, human resources, recruitment, sales, and vendor management.

Topaz currently brings together more than 12,000 AI assets, over 150 pre-trained AI models, and 10 AI platforms. By connecting these capabilities with Amazon Q, Infosys aims to enable automation of documentation, provide tailored assistance for code generation and debugging, and streamline testing and modernization of legacy systems. The companies said these enhancements are intended to reduce manual effort while delivering measurable efficiency gains.

The partnership also extends to Amazon Bedrock, AWS’s generative AI service. Infosys plans to integrate Topaz with Bedrock to deliver what the companies describe as dynamic, real-time personalized experiences, particularly in sports and entertainment use cases where fan engagement and end-user interaction are increasingly driven by data and AI.

Commenting on the collaboration, Sandeep Dutta, President for India and South Asia at AWS, said Infosys is establishing a benchmark for enterprise transformation through large-scale adoption of generative AI. He added that the combined strengths of Amazon Q and Infosys Topaz are expected to help organizations innovate faster, enhance operational agility, and unlock differentiated value for clients.

The announcement underscores the growing momentum behind agentic and generative AI within large enterprises, as consulting and cloud providers deepen partnerships to move AI from experimentation into production environments at scale.
