Neilsoft Limited and RSP Architects Planners & Engineers (Pte) Ltd, Singapore, have secured First Place at the Autodesk Tandem & AI Hackathon in Singapore, emerging at the top of a highly competitive field that included leading organisations from Singapore and Malaysia.

The judging panel comprised Ivy Rayner, Managing Director of Autodesk Southeast Asia; Frank Ngoh, President of IFMA; and Derek Yoh, Chief Technology Officer at CBM Pte Ltd, underscoring the significance of the recognition. According to coverage distributed via Business Wire India and published by The Tribune through PTI, the award reflects both technical depth and strategic alignment with evolving industry priorities.

The joint entry by Neilsoft and RSP centred on a new United World College (UWC) campus, with completion targeted by 2030. RSP secured the project through a design competition and is serving as the Lead Multi-disciplinary Consultant. Neilsoft’s contribution focused on translating the broader project vision into a future-ready Digital Twin framework designed to support long-term operational intelligence.

Raghuram NM, President – Neilsoft Solutions Business, said the challenge addressed during the hackathon mirrors the industry’s shift from reactive facility management toward proactive, BIM and data analytics–driven asset management solutions during the operations phase of projects. As Autodesk’s global solution provider for the Tandem Digital Twin platform, Neilsoft developed what it described as a Predictive Digital Twin, offering a unified, single-pane-of-glass interface to monitor, visualise and optimise compliance with the WELL Building Standard.

The team demonstrated seven of the ten WELL concepts, supported by structured dashboards, integrated data intelligence and a narrative aligned with UWC’s institutional values. The approach combined building performance metrics with occupant well-being indicators, positioning the Digital Twin not merely as a visual model but as an operational decision-support system.

Prashanth Chunduri, Global Marketing Head at Neilsoft, stated that the outcome represented more than technical execution. He noted that the solution integrated design intent, operational analytics and occupant well-being into a cohesive framework. Beginning April 2026, Neilsoft plans to establish a dedicated Digital Twin Practice to address large-scale projects in India, including hospitals, airports, corporate campuses, factories and industrial plants. The initiative aims to position Indian enterprises at the forefront of BIM and Digital Twin adoption.

As reported in the syndicated release carried by The Tribune, the hackathon recognition reflects the growing convergence of digital engineering, data-driven asset management and sustainability-focused building standards.
