BDx Data Centers launches Southeast Asia’s first hybrid quantum AI testbed in Singapore
BDx Data Centers, a carrier-neutral operator in Asia, has introduced Southeast Asia’s first hybrid quantum AI testbed with Anyon Technologies. The environment resides at BDx’s flagship SIN1 site in Paya Lebar, Singapore.
The programme is designed for startups, enterprises, and government agencies to trial quantum-enhanced AI use cases.
BDx CEO Mayank Srivastava said the company’s path—from rolling out advanced NVIDIA GPUs across the region to integrating quantum computing within the data center—shows a commitment to shaping innovation, not merely following it. He added that BDx and partners are creating an open platform to unlock the transformative potential of quantum computing.
Anyon Technologies president and CEO Jie (Roger) Luo said combining QPUs (quantum processing units) with CPUs (central processing units) and GPUs (graphics processing units) enables breakthroughs in quantum algorithms and applications.
Luo noted this approach reduces adoption barriers for enterprise customers in Singapore, including financial institutions, by helping them onboard talent and generate real, differentiating business value.
BDx’s SIN1 is positioned as a cross-regional AI Hub and Innovation Center that supports high-growth AI startups and government-led innovation initiatives.
To speed AI uptake across Southeast Asia, BDx is offering dedicated access to its AI-ready infrastructure so companies and startups can experiment with transformative technologies. By building an open, scalable platform, BDx aims to drive practical impact across AI, research, and enterprise applications.
SIN1 also sets a sustainability benchmark, achieving a 20% improvement in energy efficiency through advanced cooling and smart automation. It includes Singapore’s first AI-powered digital twin to optimise energy and performance in real time and aligns with Singapore’s Green Data Center Standards.
BDx and Anyon plan to extend this hybrid quantum model to key Asian markets—Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan—forming a regional network of quantum-enabled data centers.
