Canon Inc. has announced that its 3D VR lens for APS-C cameras, the RF-S3.9mm F3.5 STM DUAL FISHEYE, has received the prestigious Gold Award at the 2025 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America. This is the first time Canon has secured a Gold Award at IDEA.
The RF-S3.9mm F3.5 STM DUAL FISHEYE is a lens created for APS-C cameras. With a compact and lightweight body—approximately 54.6 mm in length and weighing about 290 g—it is designed to ensure portability without compromising image quality across the frame.
