HOLOGATE has announced the introduction of AgiS, a modular training replica platform equipped with integrated sensor systems for law enforcement, military, and security training applications in extended reality environments. The report, originally published by Halldale Group, outlines the system’s positioning within next-generation simulation and XR-based training programs.

The market debut centers on the AGIS LW PKG95, a G95-profile replica engineered to replicate the ergonomics and operational handling of the German Armed Forces’ current standard service rifle. The platform incorporates calibrated operating forces across the charging handle, trigger, and safety selector to closely reflect real-world weapon interaction. It also integrates a blowback recoil mechanism delivering full bolt stroke movement and a realistic rate of fire, reinforcing mechanical authenticity during use.

At the core of the system is an embedded sensor architecture capable of transmitting real-time movement metrics and weapon status data directly into HOLOGATE’s HGXR training environment. This connectivity enables seamless alignment between physical weapon manipulation and immersive XR-driven tactical scenarios. In addition to its digital integration capabilities, the replica is designed to function independently within live training exercises when required.

The AgiS platform operates untethered, supported by an integrated power system, onboard compressed air, and wireless data transmission. An internal air tank enables approximately 200 operational cycles and is built for rapid replacement to minimize downtime during extended training sessions.

Robert Fankhänel, Chief Operating Officer of HOLOGATE and a former military officer, stated that the objective is to deliver “training under conditions that closely reflect actual deployment,” underscoring the company’s emphasis on realism and operational fidelity.

According to Halldale’s coverage, the AgiS system was developed in collaboration with military and law enforcement partners to ensure alignment with field requirements. HOLOGATE’s HGXR platform is already deployed by the German Armed Forces as well as European law enforcement agencies, reflecting its active role within institutional training ecosystems.

The modular architecture of AgiS is structured to accommodate additional weapon configurations beyond the initial G95 format, allowing for future expansion across varied operational profiles and defense requirements.
