Mark Winter, CEO and Co-Founder of inTechnology Distribution, has been named to the Executive Council of the IoT Alliance Australia (IoTAA) and will also co-lead the group’s Healthcare Workstream.
The IoT Alliance Australia (IoTAA) serves as the nation’s leading industry body advancing the adoption and impact of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies across multiple sectors. Its Executive Council acts as the key decision-making group, with members from industry, government, and academia who guide workstreams focused on IoT interoperability, cybersecurity, sustainability, workforce skills, and standards development.
Healthcare Leadership Role
Mark Winter’s additional role as co-lead of the IoTAA Healthcare Workstream involves shaping and promoting trusted use of data and technology in the healthcare sector, including hospitals, wellness, and at-home care. The workstream’s mission is to drive better outcomes, higher operational efficiency, and improved care delivery using connected, secure, human-focused technology solutions.
With over 25 years of experience, Winter’s career encompasses enterprise mobility, real-time location systems, and IoT-driven transformation. He has overseen the implementation of connected technology to enhance safety, efficiency, and results in complex settings such as hospitals, aged care, manufacturing, and logistics.
