According to reporting by IoT Insider, the findings illustrate a defining period in which LoRaWAN progressed beyond early adoption stages to become a core connectivity layer supporting Massive IoT deployments across utilities, urban infrastructure, industrial operations, agriculture, buildings, and critical infrastructure on a global scale.
The report confirms that LoRaWAN has reached 125 million deployed devices worldwide, achieving a compound annual growth rate of 25%, highlighting both accelerating adoption and sustained long-term momentum. This expansion reflects increasing enterprise and public sector confidence in LoRaWAN as reliable infrastructure capable of supporting wide-scale sensor deployments and connected asset management systems.
Large-scale implementations continue to expand rapidly. Multi-million-device LoRaWAN networks are currently operated by Alliance members including ZENNER, Actility, Netmore, The Things Industries, and Veolia.
