Willog and ICCA Partner to Innovate Indonesia’s Cold-Chain Infrastructure with K-Logistics AIoT Solutions
Willog, a South Korean company specializing in IoT and AI-powered logistics intelligence, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Indonesian Cold Chain Association (ICCA/ARPI). The collaboration leverages Willog’s advanced “K-Logistics” expertise to modernize Indonesia’s cold-chain infrastructure, supporting the National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE) and the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
Addressing Indonesia’s Unique Logistics Challenges
Indonesia’s geography, with around 17,000 islands, makes logistics modernization a national priority. The cold-chain industry is growing quickly, creating a need for stronger infrastructure and advanced standards. The Willog–ICCA partnership aims to tackle these issues by introducing modern monitoring technology specifically designed for the Indonesian market.
Real-Time Monitoring with AI and IoT
Willog will deploy its IoT and AI solutions to provide real-time monitoring of environmental factors such as temperature and impact, helping reduce risks and costs. This ensures data transparency and builds stronger business trust across the supply chain.
Proven in South Korea, these solutions are already used by major logistics corporations and government organizations, including the Republic of Korea Army. For Indonesia, the technology is expected to significantly increase logistics efficiency and reliability, minimizing waste and protecting sensitive goods.
Strategic Importance and Industry Standards
Jihyun Yoon, Co-CEO of Willog, highlighted the agreement’s significance, stating: “This MOU is more than a simple technology partnership. It represents a meaningful opportunity for us to contribute to Indonesia’s national vision of building the NLE. We are committed to leveraging Willog’s proven technology to help establish cold-chain monitoring standards in Indonesia and lead logistics innovation across the ASEAN market as a representative of ‘K-Logistics’.”
ICCA’s Role and Pilot Projects
ICCA Chairman Hasanuddin Yasni confirmed: “Willog’s advanced cold chain solution will be a great asset in modernizing the Indonesian market.” He added that ICCA will provide market expertise and collaborate with government bodies to ensure success.
As a next step, both organizations will launch pilot projects in high-value industries such as seafood and pharmaceuticals, creating solutions optimized for Indonesia’s logistics environment.
