xAI Grok Models Now Available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Elon’s musk’s company has partnered with Oracle to offer its advanced Grok models through the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI service. These models are now accessible to enterprises for a wide array of applications, including content creation, research, and automation of business processes.
Powered by OCI AI infrastructure, Grok models will utilize Oracle’s high-performance Compute instances, which offer competitive price-performance ratios and scalable architecture to support demanding workloads.
Founded in March 2023, the Elon Musk’s creation is pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence with a focus on developing tools that expand human understanding. Grok 3, its latest model, excels in mathematics, coding, and reasoning, achieved through large-scale reinforcement learning. These capabilities are now supported by OCI’s enterprise-grade features for security, governance, and data management. Additionally, all data routed from Oracle to Grok is processed via zero data retention endpoints, adding further security measures.
“Grok 3 represents a leap forward in AI capabilities and Oracle’s advanced data platform will accelerate its impact on enterprises,” said Jimmy Ba, co-founder of the AI Behemoth. “This collaboration between us and Oracle is set to redefine enterprise-grade AI.”
Oracle’s EVP of AI and Data Management Services, Greg Pavlik, said, “By bringing our cutting-edge Grok models to our customers, we are expanding the possibilities of AI in the enterprise.” He emphasized Oracle’s commitment to delivering adaptable, secure, and scalable AI tools.
Oracle enables industries to implement generative and agentic AI tailored to specific needs, yielding rapid and actionable outcomes. Thousands of AI developers already utilize OCI’s cost-efficient, purpose-built solutions to accelerate workloads across use cases such as NLP, computer vision, and recommender systems. OCI’s bare metal GPU instances power these capabilities.
Telecom leader Windstream is exploring the integration of their multimodal models via OCI to enhance workflow fluidity and empower staff. “We think there could be real advantages to leveraging Grok models via OCI Generative AI service, integrating language comprehension and reasoning to propose meaningful actions,” said Kaushik Bhanderi, SVP at Windstream.
