xReality Group Limited Secures $5.71 Million Texas DPS Contract for Operator XR
xReality Group Limited (ASX:XRG) has announced its largest order to date for Operator XR’s OP-2 systems, with a contract valued up to $5.71 million from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). The deal includes an initial $4.3 million order and an optional $1.4 million for support services in years three, four, and five. Delivery of the systems is expected throughout Q2 FY26.
The agreement covers OP-2 software licenses, VR training systems, implementation, training, and two years of support, with an option for an additional three years. The systems will be deployed across the State of Texas to support law enforcement training.
Texas Department of Public Safety Partnership
The Texas DPS serves as the statewide public safety and law-enforcement agency, overseeing highway patrol, traffic safety, statewide criminal investigations, driver licensing, regulatory services, state crime labs, and homeland security coordination. As Texas is the second-largest U.S. state by population and area, the agency plays a critical role in protecting over 30 million residents.
Terms of the Contract
- $4.3 million for software licenses, systems, implementation, and two years of support
- $1.4 million optional support services across years three to five
- Payment terms: 30 days from system receipt, with full delivery expected in Q2 FY26
