Parallax Worlds Raises Funding to Advance Hyper-Realistic Digital Twins for Robotics Testing

Published: 2025-11-25 Category: Digital Twins News

Parallax Worlds is a robotics simulation company focused on creating high-fidelity digital twins that allow developers to validate robot performance before deploying hardware into real environments. The platform converts simple video captures, including basic phone walkthroughs, into detailed, fully navigable 3D spaces. Robotics teams can then run interactive simulations using their actual control software, helping them test perception, planning, and edge-case behavior under realistic factory conditions. The company integrates with major industry engines such as NVIDIA Omniverse, Unreal, and Unity, adding robotics-specific behaviors and AI-assisted scenario generation on top. Parallax Worlds is led by co-founders Tanmay Agarwal and Aumkar Renavikar, who bring experience from Stanford’s robotics programs, UIUC, BMW, and Michelin. Backed by investors including Pear VC, GS Futures, Kakao Ventures, and others, the company aims to accelerate development cycles and reduce the cost and risk associated with on-site robot testing.
